Daughter of a successful Japanese real estate developer, Suzume was brought up in a respectable family with traditional values. When her father’s company decided to expand to the islands of “JamDown,” Suzume came along for the ride. Spending her high school years immersed in the culture and music of “JamDown,” Suzume became an underground DJ adopting the moniker of Suzie Q.

Her passion and youthful energy quickly catch the attention of the “One Love Crew,” who quickly adopt her as a full fledged member. As her popularity on the Island grows, so does her parents’ disapproval. Suzume must now decide if she will fall back in line with her parents’ wishes or embrace the persona of Suzie Q; losing her claim to the family business and their blessing..

Pablo Dread

Pablo Dread is the heart and soul of the super group “One Love Crew” and is the catalyst that can bring all of these dynamic artists together. With his sleepy eyes, calm disposition and baritone voice, Pablo has no trouble making friends. Pablo has been blessed with a wisdom that exceeds his years. Even Ducky, who is easily the most spiritual member of the crew, will often defer to Pablo’s council and seek him out for advice.

Pablo hates confrontations, which makes him an amazing mediator. He is perhaps the one person who can bring both Duckey and Fiyah Kat together on one accord before show time. Despite his outgoing nature, Pablo is most at peace when he is alone digging through old crates of classic Reggae albums or sampling the newest dish at Niko’s restaurant.

Poom Poom Kitty is a walking contradiction. This plump feline is a true Diva. She is loved by the thousands who tune in daily for advice on their love life but hated and ridiculed by Supermodels and Dance Hall Queens who envy her success. She oozes sexuality and lasciviousness, while as the same time carrying herself with a maternal dignity reminiscent of a Grandmother.

Poom Poom Kitty has a soft touch that often allows her to act as the mediator between Gee Chee Dawg, Peech Fuzz and the musical guests who they often offend. Although she is a true connoisseur of the musical arts, she often finds herself caught up in a performer’s good looks and the newest dance crazes. This makes the duo of Fiyah Kat and Rikki Rabbit absolutely irresistible to her.

The Captain
Bad Man

Ever since he was a young piglet, The Captain loved to play in the dirt, both literally and figuratively. As a full grown Hog, he has become the living embodiment of Corruption and Greed. The Captain doesn’t believe that it is possible to become rich by staying clean and although he has tons of money, he is morally bankrupt.

The Captain sets his eyes on JamDown’s ever booming music industry and flooded it with his dirty money. Overnight, he becomes CEO of the largest recording company on the Island. The Captain has no respect for the art of music; only the money he can make by cornering the market and buying out the competition.

Any artist who wants to see the light of day and get a taste of fame and fortune must first show The Captain that they are not afraid to get down and dirty with any of his illegal enterprises. For Ducky and the “One Love Crew,” The Captain is a perversion of all they stand for and believe in. If their music is the Gospel, then The Captain fulfills his role of the Adversary perfectly. Anyone willing to lock horns with The Captain should know that this Hog fights dirty!

Ducky Dread

With his peaceful demeanor and conscious lyrics, Ducky Dread is the moral compass of JamDown. Ducky prefers to put aside ego and selfish ambitions for the benefit of his fellow musicians. He leads by example but this is often not enough to keep such a raucous group of entertainers in check.

Although opposed by greedy music executives and plagued by internal strife, Ducky has never given up his dream of re-forming the collective Super Band known as “One Love Crew.” Ducky prefers peace over war but those who test him will discover that this Ducky has the heart of a Lion!

Fiyah Kat

Fiyah Kat is the Yin to Duckey’s Yang. As his moniker suggests, he is a creature of unbridled passion. Fiyah Kat is easily the most lyrically skilled and energetic performer among his peers.

Unfortunately, he has forgotten what it was like to perform for the joy of his art or even for money. Fiyah Kat’s only objective is to prove to himself and everyone else that he is the premier musical attraction on the Islands of JamDown. This often draws him into dangerous and unnecessary conflicts with rival groups and even his own band mates.

So why do his friends tolerate his antics? They know that beneath the bravado of his rude boy façade, Fiyah Kat has a heart of gold and will always come through for his friends in the end.
